The vision of the Stolpan Association - The Consumer Centric Model

  • To achieve such interoperability of the remote post issuance procedure that even unknown service partners can support instantaneous application provisioning even in case of cross border scenarios. (Eg. A tourist arrives to a foreign country and needs a transport ticket for a limited period of time, but with a very short response time.)

  • To achieve transparency of the service delivery process for the service providers irrespective of the user’s mobile device, the owner and type of secure element used and the NFC architecture.

  • To provide homogenous user experience for the consumers for service discovery, delivery and customer support across a large number of services.

  • To agree on a business model, pricing structure and associated revenue flows, which can support ad hoc service delivery, maximizes the utilization of the secure element and satisfies all actors in the value chain.
